What kind of LARP are you looking for? There are so many genres out there such as science fiction, Horror, Fantasy. I think IFGS (International Fantasy Gaming Society) has a group out there in Sacramento. There are a few Mind´s Eye Theater group as well. Some one else from the area might be able to post more specific information on the status of LARP there.
