Here is the link to my BttDRPG. It is a very simple to play and easy to run RPG.
It is a very stripped down version of the D20 rules with Old School gaming simplicity.
You can run huge battles with many NPCs, players and monsters as the rules are very simple and easy to use.
Any critiques and suggestions are welcome.
I plan to give the rules away PDF wise but MAY have a hard copy version in the near future.
I hope you can playtest these rules soon. _________________ I know the pieces fit! I watched them fall away! |

That's what this game can do.
Print it out and try it.
Easy to run and easy to play.
Need an editor really bad but is playable. _________________ I know the pieces fit! I watched them fall away! |

Well it's time to start adventuring in BttDRPG!
BttDRPG is not yet another retroclone! It is a neoclone that takes the simplicity of the older rules and some of the innovations of the new rules without adding the rules clunk. The play style is what I describe as "the flow" which is when a game speeds along and the rules are in the background and the story is foremost.
The Game Master and the players will not have to stop and look up a rule to see how something works as it is all explained very simply. If there is confusion the Game Master is to use GM FIAT and make a decision!
Monsters are not full page characters! They are simple and concise and usually are made up of Armor Class, Hit Dice, Movement, and a small description of their attacks and abilities.
I have split the documents into five booklets totaling 104 pages that if made into fold over booklets only takes 26 pieces of paper and you have a complete (in playtest form at least) RPG.
I am going to concentrate on making a few simple dungeons and adventures and let the chips fall where they may.
All I have to do is get a few people to play it from both sides of the fence at one table.
Book 1 PC Guide

Book 2 Spells

Book 3 Monsters

Book 4 GM Guide

Book 5 PC Guide 2 Additional Races and Classes

Character Sheet

SO print these out in booklet form and fold them over and read them.
If you decide to play it then let me know how you enjoyed it.
BTW it's free to download and print out for personal use. _________________ I know the pieces fit! I watched them fall away! |
