Runes is a fantasy live action roleplay game founded in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area of Texas in 2011.

We are currently in Beta Test so all events are FREE.
The Game Proper will start in January 2012.

Runes is set in a fantacy world which combines medieval tones with magical elements and non-traditional technologies called magitech.

Runes of Caludar offers a variety of role playing experiences you are sure to enjoy; from in debth character interaction and realization, problem solving, puzzles, politics and in debth story lines, to full action combat.

Runes is a classless system who's base lies in a variety of races. The Rule system is simple yet diverse and consist of an easy to learn core system which allows players to quickly learn the rules necessary for participation. Advanced rules expand upon the core rules and allow players to better customize their characters and abilities to realize whole new levels of game play and character concepts. What's even better is that since the advanced rules only expand upon core rules, core rule and advanced rule players may participate in the same game side by side flawlessly.

The open rule style and classless system allows you to create the character that you want to play and interact with the world in unique and limitless ways.

We're currently in the Beta Test phase and plan to release final rule set's in January 2012.

The Rulebook offered is currently in it's unedited form, and changes frequently. I apologize for the spelling, grammar, and consistency errors you may find. These will all be corrected once the rules have been finalized closer to January 2012.
