Interesting. And Congratulations. Now whne you beta tested.. What did you do? Beyond testing tehy combat I mean. I know I would like to know.

Well, surely. We are actually Beta Testing it this year. We are running it like a full event. The only thing that all players know, is that during the course of events, rules may be changed for the betterment and balance of the game. However, all things RP and combat wise are per a normally run game.

During our Alpha Testing, we had a small group of trusted gamers come in and test all the combat and skill rules. We did this by creating some small quests and running them. We figured out what worked and did not work and changed them appropriately.

At the end of beta testing the rulebook will be 100% finished. As of now, it is very close, but we wanted to give it a year to find some unforeseen holes.

So far It looks good! Nice website, nice pictures, and a decent set of rules.

I really like your map on your website. Are you going to add points of interest? Like towns, mountain ranges? or perhaps as the game plays add it? (which is a good idea, so it lets the players discover areas as they go).


I like how the rules included some, of I think they are called "mundane" skills, such as agriculture, mining, leather working. I have some of those skills in my game too, only a few players use them.

Can't wait to see some more pictures!

Quite a few races, spells, and skills look similar to some nonlarp games but it is cool to see some of my favorite spells and skills from other games in larps. makes it fun.

I had a few that were similar to a few other games, but eventually dumped them in favor of trying to be creative!

Funny you mention that...when we wrote these rules, we really tried to incorporate, Table Top, SCA, online gaming and basic Larping. We really wanted to appeal to a wide variety of folks.

Ahh, you mean the map on the front of the website...yeah, we already have alot of stuff on that map. That picture is just for effect. As I get stuff done on the actual map, I will most likely put it up....not sure yet.

Yep, we will be taking lots of pictures. I was not able to get anyone with a video camera for it this time...however, next time should have one.

Well they seem a bit long and they are in a rough draft form.

So far pretty good just hope there is not too much of a learning curve for new players as not all players will be gamers.

I will be looking over them in detail in the next few days.

Actually, thus far, most players are ok with them, learning wise. Yeah, it is in a rough draft form. We are using this beta test year to get it right. There will be more comprehensive explanations I feel, plus, me and my buddy are already working on creating a world book for plot and history. This is so that when we are ready, we can franchise out and give them a set area in which to play.

Anyway, I am off to the game. Wish us luck!!
