Hi there,

I´m in the process of setting up a new LRP venture based in the Sheffield area and am seeking interested players to take part.

Drawing inspiration from a number of different sources, the general premise of the system is to run a semi-regular series of standalone games - very freeform in nature - in a number of different genres, making it a different game every time.

Heavily based around In-Character interaction, with a very low amount of scripted ´plot´, it´s up to the players to make things happen. Whilst all the characters will be pre-generated, there´ll be plenty of flexibility in what you play and questionnaires will be circulated prior to each session to determine what type of character you would prefer.

As initially the sessions will last around three to four hours and played out within the course of an evening, there´s no long-standing commitment required, allowing you to come along to the occasional session if you prefer.

Fantasy, Cthulu, B-Movies, Sci-fi and Neverwhere are among the genres currently under consideration, so there´ll be plenty of variety in the upcoming events.

If you´re interested, please drop an email to refs@alternate-realities.freeserve.co.uk join the YahooGroup at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/alternate.

Thanks for reading,

The Alternate Realities Refs
