If YOU had your own LARP park, an undeveloped piece of land in a rural area what would you do to the property?
Here is some of my ideas...
First of all a barrier road all the way around the property. SO if someone get's lost they will always be able to find the barrier road and get back to a gate safely.
Fence the entirety of the property off. No mundanes or hunters coming onto the property.
Have various areas or stages cleared off but leave most of the property wilderness.
Get a pole driving company to start putting down telephone polls arranged in a order so I could build a tavern and manor.
Start collecting scrap wood, pallets, and containers to use for smaller buildings.
Make a fire and safety plan.
What would you do? _________________ I know the pieces fit! I watched them fall away! |

I would definately make a larp park. Possibly a paintball part or LArp and Lazer tag park. now that would be cool. With cabins and stuff. _________________ Just when you thought the worse was over. Here I am. :0) |

I would make a medieval village replica like the village out of the Brothers Grimm. Bad movie. Badass village set.
All the buildings would be heated and have electricity, and the main tavern building would have a full kitchen hidden behind closed doors so its out of sight.
Oh. What. Fun!!! _________________ Club Crimson: a Vampire Nerf game - http://www.biomechine.net/clubcrimson/

Yeah the tavern and village YEAH!
I would make a huge building that had movable walls for different dungeon scenarios. _________________ I know the pieces fit! I watched them fall away! |

Oh! To accommodate games that use GM's and NPC's, the property would have to have a GM building with heat, electricity, its own bathroom and shower, and enough beds for the GM's to sleep. This building would also have to be in its own private corner to the property too. _________________ Club Crimson: a Vampire Nerf game - http://www.biomechine.net/clubcrimson/

Alot of times if U look N the paper there are old houses @ B Moved for free.
There can be cheap old and use trailers as well.
Dress them up and put them far enough apart to connect them with roofs.
Containers are a real cheap option as well.
All this would need costly equipment BUT cheaper than building it yourself.
A wise LARP park would obtain their own USED truck and trailer. _________________ I know the pieces fit! I watched them fall away! |
