mhmh well....i don't know of any national forum about larp in italy (there was an old mailing list now full of spam -_-)..nearly all the groups have their own board
i'd like to have a board like this in italy, but actually i see it as a difficult task
btw mine is http://www.ivdm.it/smf/
we have general discussion about larp but very few users (and it's all in italian) |

http://forumas.fantastika.lt - a great lihtuanian forum for all types of rpg, including and larp.
lithuania is a small country near Baltic sea, in other countries it's rarely speaking in lithanian language, but some of our larpers posts info in russian or english. |

Wow, there's a lot of activity on that Lithuanian larp board. Thousands of posts.
How big and how common are larps in Lithuania? Can you give us an idea of what they're like? |

SLOVAKIA (country in central europe)
www.slad.annun.sk
slovak LARP community. About 600registred players and organisers, forums, gallery, reports from actions, list of slovak LARPs and lot of other things allied on LARPs
problem is that the page is only in slovak so probably nobody here will understand it (maybe except people from czech or poland) |

If you could kindly add the following to the list
(another regional in the US) -
MW_LARP/MW_LARPers - forums for Upper Midwest* LARPers
Blog = http://community.livejournal.com/mw_larp/
Mailing List = http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/MW_LARPers/
(Upper Midwest being the US states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota)
(Note: I will be posting followups as the month progresses for additional regional (US) forums.) |

Thanks, I've added the Yahoo group. Hopefully people can find the blog from there.
Happy to add more US communities as you gather them. |

Thanks! Much appreciated.
And helpful suggestion,
Since the mw_larp/larper is referenced by just the mailing list,
Would it be possible to have the same done for the ne_larp/larper? |

I've also alphabetised the items under each country. |

|

A few new forums to add to the pile:
- Mid-Atlantic LARPers: http://community.livejournal.com/midatl_larp
Region = US States of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia as well as DC (Virginia games posted here)
- Southeast LARPers: http://community.livejournal.com/se_larp
Region = US States of Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee (Virginia games posted here too)
- Great Lakes LARPers: http://community.livejournal.com/greatlakes_larp
Region = US States of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio
The following forums need to have their links updated to:
New England LARPers: http://community.livejournal.com/ne_larp
Upper Midwest LARPers: http://community.livejournal.com/mw_larp
NOTE: Reason for the change is that we are moving away from mailing lists and toward blogs. (And the blogs have a link to their respective mailing list) |
