|

I finally received the Awards from the trophy/engraver shop. I'm getting ready to ship these out to the winners. I know some countries want to do an awards ceremony. If there are any plans out there, please let me know ASAP via the site's messenging system or via e-mail at photos@larplist.com. Thanks!

Great Shade. I tried to contact Lizi about the possibility of doing an awards ceremony in the UK, but she seems to be busy as I've had no reply.
There's some talk on Pagga about running a LARP con, which suggests that the UK doesn't have one currently. So it looks like only the Scandinavians are organised enough. |

hmph... StarMan should reply to this, I hope he already has. I really hope we could do the awards thing in Ropecon. If not, our organization can have an awards ceremony during our yearly gathering... both Teemu and Tutta are members. _________________ Very few rules, very good games and ... Awesome food. |

I'm currently waiting for confirmation. The seremony will be held 23.-25.7. at Ropecon in Helsinki. I will mail after the confirmation.

I've sent out the awards here in the USA. I'm looking for a good shipper for the winners outside the USA. I'm hoping to get them out this week. I'll plan on sending them to the recipeints/winners directly unless I hear differently. Let me know!

As Jupe already informed, Tutta is in Canada of all places durinfg Ropecon, but even despite of that the seremony wont be held at Ropecon. My conclusion is that it was perhaps a noble idea wich - perhaps like the awards itself (the rules conversations) - needs more thorough planning. Maybe next year?
Shade: post the awards to Finland to the wnners. Can you get some nice pictures to web of them?

Just got home from holiday to find my award waiting. It's on the mantlepiece now.
Thanks Joe, I think we've got a neat thing going with the awards. |
